If a Spotter does not show up on the day of the booking, the reservation is considered a no-show and is not eligible for a refund. Hosts reserve time specifically for your experience and may lose other booking opportunities by holding that date.

If you need to cancel, partial refunds may be available depending on how much notice is given:

120+ hours (5 days) before the experience: up to 100% refund

48+ hours before the experience: up to 80% refund

24+ hours before the experience: up to 70% refund

Less than 24 hours or no-show: no refund

These policies help protect both Spotters and Hosts by balancing flexibility with fairness.

If a host fails to show up for a confirmed booking, Spot-a-Bus will review the situation right away. Verified no-show bookings are eligible for a full refund, and our team will investigate what happened.

Hosts who no-show without valid reason may face account penalties, including suspension or removal from the platform. Our goal is to keep Spot-a-Bus safe, reliable, and trustworthy for everyone.
